For more than 20 years, Sally Bethea was the voice of the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta. A new documentary, “Saving the Chattahoochee,” examines the role that Sally and other women played in defending our waterways from pollution and harmful development over several decades. The January 31 premiere in Atlanta is sold out, but you can catch the next screening of the film on February 8 in LaGrange at the Oakfuskee Conservation Center. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Sally Bethea, producer/director Hal Jacobs, CRK deputy director Henry Jacobs, and CRK technical programs specialist Ashley Desensi.
