Mike Nemeth will be speaking at Pretty Good Books on Saturday, August 28th to promote his newest book Parker’s Choice.

Parker’s Choice Synopsis: Parker has been to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, and he’s not about to let that happen again. Exiled to Atlanta, he and his wife, Paula, are struggling to rebuild their marriage while Parker is on parole. After Parker’s boss threatens to fire him if he doesn’t facilitate a fraudulent scheme to ship five hundred middle-class American jobs to India, Paula falls off the wagon into an alcoholic spiral. When a dead woman’s body is pulled from the Chattahoochee River, Parker fears Paula has murdered his worst enemy from his troubled past, but the police think Parker did it.

Parker and his clever colleague, Sabrina, launch their own investigation and soon discover that a man who could be Parker’s birth father is mixed up in the fraudulent scheme. When Sabrina steals the “smoking gun” to expose the fraud, the crooks decide to silence them. Parker and Sabrina go on the run until their search for answers culminates in a violent showdown in an eerie cemetery in the New Orleans French Quarter. Then Parker’s loyalties are torn between a wife who spurns his love, a man who denies being his birth father, and a woman who could be his soulmate. When Parker and Sabrina connect the dots between a murder and fraud, Parker has choices to make.
