Meet the Author – Marcia Camp Johnson

Marcia Camp Johnson, a LaGrange, Georgia native, has a long career in the life and health insurance profession. Marcia spends a lot of her spare time volunteering. Her passions include animal rescue, children in need, and veterans’ support. Marcia’s hobbies include a love of music and sports. A former tennis player, she enjoys playing the piano and the Native American flute. Ms. Johnson is the mother of a fabulous daughter and a graduate of the University of Alabama with degree in Mathematics and Education. This is Ms. Johnson’s second children’s book.

Meet the Illustrator – Laura Thompson Lamb

Laura Thompson Lamb is from LaGrange, Georgia. She graduated from Auburn

University in Art Education and received her Masters degree in middle school

education from LaGrange College. Before retiring, Laura taught science and art in

LaGrange. She and her husband have three adult children and seven grandchildren. Her interests include her dogs and cat, gardening, and writing and

illustrating books for her grandchildren.
